Upon tying the knot, Stefani shared that being married to her husband evoked memories of the various seasons they spent together on "The Voice." These stages included the various phases of their friendship and relationship.

"The best part about working with my wife is that I never have to be apart from her," Shelton also proclaimed. He described Gwen Stefani as the least competitive person, adding that being on a competition show with her was the most fantastic scenario he could be in.

However, in October 2022, the country star announced that he was leaving "The Voice" after season 23 ended. He said the show, which he was in for 12 years, changed his life for the better and that it would always feel like home to him. So, in 2023, as the season concluded, it marked the end of Shelton's time on "The Voice."

Shelton and Stefani relished working together on "The Voice," but there have been times when they have been apart due to their professional commitment. When Blake announced he was leaving "The Voice," Stefani said her husband just wanted to have more time because doing two seasons of the show and touring took a big part of his year.

On January 23, 2024, Shelton shared a picture on Instagram alongside his friend Lauren Alaina. The two were on "Barmaggedon," the television game show together.

Shelton's fans noticed that it wasn't Stefani who was by his side, and they cautioned him that he may lose his wife. "You're going to lose your wife. Gwen is trusting you," pointed out one fan, while another warned, "Watch out! You can lose Gwen…." More fans chimed in, with someone advising Shelton, "You need to start spending time with your wife before you lose her."

Fans' messages come after Shelton and Stefani welcomed New Year 2024 separately. The pair had spent 2023's Christmas with family, cooking, baking, eating, wining, and having fun. However, they spent time apart on New Year's Eve due to professional obligations.

The career dedication of the pair was evident as Stefani spent her time in Las Vegas performing while Shelton performed at the New Year's Eve Live Nashville's Big Bash alongside Trace Adkins. Other singers who were at the party were Kane Brown, Morgan Wallen, and Lainey Wilson.

Stefani had previously announced that she wasn't sure she wanted to be in Las Vegas again, as that's where she was in 2022. However, she changed her mind when she realized her husband was going to be busy too. "I was like, 'Eh, I'm gonna do it.' If you're gonna be working, then I'm going to be working," she noted.

So, on New Year's Eve, Stefani shared videos on her Instagram stories while having fun with her friends at a Las Vegas party. She wore her blonde hair in a ponytail and had lipstick on. The singer, who wore an oversized yellow jersey with a bejeweled logo on the front, showed off her record player and the record collection of her hit singles, both made out of chocolate.

Despite not getting to ring in the new year with his beloved, Shelton had some resolutions, which he opened up about in December 2023. For years, he had been talking about cutting out alcohol and was determined to follow through. "And I'll say it again right now -- that's my New Year's resolution, is to either cut back or stop drinking altogether. Let's just say I said it," he announced.

The singer said 2024 was finally the year he would cut out alcohol as much as it was difficult with all the celebratory occasions and just enjoying life with Stefani.

Shelton talked about having fun in life with his wife, but his work has been taking him away from her. The singer is set to hit the road on the "Back To the Honky Tonk" tour from late February to late March 2024 and will be pretty much away from home.

Previously, the star confessed how touring felt different after he got married, especially since he had to leave behind Stefani and his three stepsons. He hated being away, especially at a time when California was having bad storms. He knew nothing bad would happen, but he was just freaked out and said it would be nice to be home.

Despite their busy careers, Stefani revealed that she and Shelton have good and fun lives outside of work. They stay on Shelton's ranch in Oklahoma, where they plant a garden and have an exciting time. "We're looking forward to doing some of that, like family stuff together, it's going to be great," said Stefani.

Stefani also admitted that it was going to be weird for her to be on "The Voice" with her husband gone. In 2022, the coaches went head-to-head over one promising singer, Daysia. Shelton declared that he was going to fight for Daysia, and his wife responded, "Let's see what fighting looks like in our marriage."

However, the couple maintained their humor as Shelton said it was awkward to fight with his wife in such situations over the singer.

Stefani and Shelton have found solid ground in their marriage, which involves touring and jobs away from each other. The 47-year-old confessed that Gwen saved his life, empathizing with him during his highly publicized divorce from another musician, his ex-wife Miranda Lambert. "You can't even imagine the similarities in our divorces," he said.

Stefani also shared the same sentiments. "Blake saved my life, and everybody knows that," she gushed. The mom of three shared that now, she and her husband were savoring every moment and having the time of their lives, an experience they never expected to have this late in their lives.

Shelton has been by Stefani's side even during her happy times. In January 2024, when Stefani was inducted into the Orange County Hall of Fame, husband and wife held hands as they went to the ceremony.

Earlier, in 2023, Shelton only had positive things to say as Stefani was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He praised his wife as a dedicated mother and paid tribute to her career and unique qualities. Shelton added that Stefani was "one of the greatest stars in the world" and "the perfect person to receive a star on the Walk of Fame."

During the ceremony, people noticed how similar Shelton and his stepson Apollo dressed. They both had denim jeans and brown shoes, styled with a black blazer and shirts underneath. Shelton admitted that when he saw Apollo in that outfit, it warmed his heart. Apollo even owns a hat, having adopted the cowboy look from his stepdad.

Blake Shelton speaks lovingly of his stepsons. As a person who has had stepparents, he understands when to step back in his stepsons' life, but no matter what, the singer said, he'll always be there when they need him. When Shelton is on tour, he tries to ensure his stepsons come to see him and what he is doing at least one weekend because of their conflicting school schedules.

Stefani is happy in her marriage to Shelton, which she never saw coming. She remembered shedding tears of joy during their wedding, particularly after they exchanged vows. Shelton, while playing a song he had written on the guitar, added to the emotional moment.

"It was an amazing gift to experience love like that for the first time," Stefani now says. Shelton has changed Stefani's life, and at the moment, she knows this is where she is supposed to be — with her husband.
